Adventures with Drawing: Part One

When I listen to the song One More Night (Your Ex-Lover Remains Dead) by Stars, I always visualize these detailed charcoal drawings to go along with the story of the song. I know, I’m weird. Get over it.

I’ve never actually made any attempt to draw these scenes, though, despite wanting to for the longest time. So tonight I finally did it - well, tried to. And I learned something: I’m really bad at drawing, but I feel like I could improve.

None of the sketches turned out very well, but I’m optimistic that I can get better at it. Especially since I was drawing with a pencil and some printer paper. If I can get my hands on some charcoal and some quality paper, I think I’d be good to go.

I’ll (hopefully) pursue this, and I’ll (hopefully) keep you updated!
